1st ultrasound
Since my numbers have risen so fast, I was told to come in today and have an ultrasound. I am only 4 weeks 5 days, so we didn't think we would see much. We did see 2 sacs! I am pregnant with twins!!!! Yeah, this has always been a dream of mine to carry twins. I am so happy for my IP's. I pray that everything goes well so that they will never have to do this again. I pray for an uneventful pregnancy!

Be careful wha you wish for
Ok, now everyone knows I have been praying for twins for my IP's. I think I might have that and more!
We got the beta results:

11dp3dt= 337 The first pregnancy numbers:
12dp3dt= 479 12dp3dt= 123
14dp3dt= 1,448!!! 15dp3t=513

So as you can see my numbers are drastically different this time!!! I go in tomorrow for the first ultrasound. We will only see sacs not heartbeats yet. You don't see that until week 6.

Some great news!
I haven't posted in a while, because this process is a hurry up and wait experience. We were supposed to have an April transfer and that did not happen, because Gretchen did not respond well to her stim medications. In case you don't know what stim medications are, they help to grow eggs.
So we had to do another 6 week cyle to prepare for a May 26th transfer. Well we made it! Gretchen had her retrieval on May 23rd, and they got 14 eggs! The next day we found out that all 14 eggs fertilized. One of the embryo's did not look healthy, so she ended up freezing 7 and left out 6 to grow. On May 26th they transferred 3 beautiful embryo's. One was a morula, which is very good, because normally you do not get a morula until day 4. It has like 16 cells. They also transferred a 7 cell with no fragmentation, and an 8 cell with minimal fragmentation.
About 6 days after transfer, I was shopping in Walmart and I walked through the seafood aisle and could hardly stand the smell! I knew I had to be pregnant. While I was there shopping, I bought a Clearblue Easy Digital pregnancy test. It clearly says PREGNANT OR NOT PREGNANT! So that night I went to sleep and woke up at
1:30 a.m and took one of the tests. Well I must not have peed enough on it and had to throw it away! I went back to sleep and woke up again at 3:30 a.m, took the test and it said PREGNANT!!!!!!
I was so excited, because I really feel God is giving them another chance.
Since we had such a bad experience last time with losing the baby at 14 1/2 weeks, we now are just taking it one day at a time and praying for a positive outcome this time.
The blood test is on June 7th. I willl update more then!

Sonohystogram
I had my sonohystogram today and as I am laying there waiting for the doctor, I am so nervous. The last time we had this done, they found a polyp. Our transfer was pushed back a month. Well the reason I was so nervous this time is that Gretchen started her stim medication today and she has a retrieval on the 30th. If they found anything abnormal, we would have to scratch everything we did up till now.
Of course, everything was normal today! yeah!!
I am getting very excited for the transfer and trying to feel optimistic. I am hoping and praying for multiples for my IP's.

Starting over
Yes, you read that right! We are in the process of preparing for a fresh transfer the first week of April! Yeah!!
I went in for my day 2 bloods and ultrasound and my lining was a 5 and my progesterine was 1.1. Estradoil was a 25. I started my Estrace on Saturday the 17th. I have to have a sonohystogram done this time before transfer, because my IM wants to make sure I didn't grown any more polyps and to make sure that there is no scarring from the D&E I had in November. This is just one more thing to worry about. I just want the test to be over so I know if we are transferring next month or not. At this point, it looks like I might be on bedrest on Easter.
This time we are doing a fresh transfer and my IP's have decided to do PGD testing on the embryo's. That is a test that will tell them if the embryo's have any chromosomal abnormalities. We don't know why we lost the last baby, so she is covering all her tracks.
I will update as often as I can!
